A lovely hat for a lovely friend of mine. She makes these amazing origami paper stars that are so tiny a whole collection of them fit inside a glass ornament. Last Christmas when I wanted to make a bunch of gifts for my friends, I knew that as soon as I saw this star hat, I had to make it for her.

I designed another garment for this same star-loving friend, but I can’t reveal it yet. Someday. But for now I keep wishing on stars…
